Mundane Introductions and Finding Myself.

Starting these kinds of things are never easy. Blogs are a new world for me. Besides reading a blog by a friend of mine, I’m not really sure what these things really are. Am I suppose to explain to complete strangers, in complete form the mysteries of my life as it unfolds day by day, or should I treat it more like a journal, that just so happens to be read by others.

Even harder than deciding what a blog is, I suppose, is how to introduce myself. I know who I am, so do I take the time to explain mundane facts of who I am on paper. Do I simply get straight to the “blogging” and let you discover who I am through the course of my story. Or, maybe I pretend as if you readers don’t exist and simply write much like I would in a private journal with no introduction at all, assuming I already know who I am.

Well crap. This looks like an introduction… I guess it’s the first option.

I title my blog “How I Found My Monkey Pants” which, let’s be honest, sounds a little bit fruity. But there is some sane and logical explanation behind it. Let me explain before we begin the boring factual introduction process.

My gamer tag is M0nkey Pantz(Yes, I am a gamer) and I guess overall nickname. The way I see blogs, they are a writing of the bloggers life. The events and circumstances we are currently facing. In life, we go through things, places, and people and eventually find ourselves in the process. Since Monkey Pants, is in essence me, finding my monkey pants is my way of saying “How I found myself.”

Let’s get onto the introduction.

My name is Joseph Kling. Call me Joey or Monkey please. I just turned 21 May 25th. I have been dating a great girl for 3 years. Jasman, she’s really great and puts up with my immatureness and all my strange personality quirks. I couldn’t ask for a more understanding and compassionate girlfriend.

My friends and I don’t have a lot of “best friends” like so many people. I have a few who I consider good friends who I see a lot. There is Jason, we work together and game together all the time. We got a lot in common. I don’t have a issue calling him my best friend. There’s Ryan, he is a good friend. We game when we’re both in town at the same time and we even went to the same college for awhile. Josh, another high school friend who also went to the same college. We roomed together for a year before I moved into my own apartment and then back home. He too is a gamer and the friend I have no problem doing stupid shit with. Like the time we rode a wheelchair down a hill in the middle of the road. Classic us. There is more, but those are the ones I see the most and any others will be explained and mentioned in future blogs I’m sure.

I work at Mcdonalds (Psh, I know… right?) as a crew person/secondary maintenance, secondary meaning weekends and when John, the main guy isn’t working during the week. Oh yeah, I get paid shit. Well almost, $7.60 an hour. I’ve been there for a few months now.

I am very proficient in computers and even went to International Business College for computer networking… but I dropped out before I got my associates last October and moved back in with my mom. I am also a gamer. There hasn’t been a single day in the last 10 years that I haven’t played at least one video game. Even if it is something simple like some Tetris on my DS, I have to play a game. It’s like a smoking addiction with a smaller fatality rate.

I’m not a complicated person at all. This is really just a quick introduction/jump point and I am sure I will be explaining a lot to you guys as this goes on. I know, there’s nothing catchy or memorable written yet. I hope I can captivate you all into staying somehow soon. Who knows, maybe as I get into this and express my souls deep secrets you all will connect with me.

Until next time,

Monkey Pants signing off.
